PROJECT 1

DIPSAFE (SMU – STEMSAFE MEASURING UNIT)

  • 24 hour blast hole measuring and reporting solution

  • Apparatus mounted on light vehicle for shot-preparation and blast crew support and transportation

  • Blast crew able to continue explosive loading whilst next blast pattern is being prepared

  • Depth of hole, water and mud wall detection

  • Data recorded can be downloaded onto USB for site engineers

  • Retrieval cable marked incrementally to visually double check results

Project 2

DUAL PURPOSE TRUCK

  • Aggregate stemming with dust suppression and water truck capability

  • Cost saving multi-purpose equipment increasing utilisation and major breakdown contingency

  • Dust Suppression system that reduces ambient respirable dust concentrations in the workplace

  • Ability to load stemming material in gear and low idle increasing production rates and turn around times

  • Rear mounted water sprays – to water down blast patterns and roads for reducing dust

  • Water Cannon and High Pressure Water Pump fitted for wash down of equipment and drill fill options

Project 3

BLASTING PREPARATION CREW

  • Drive, operate and maintain Heavy Rigid Stemming Trucks and associated equipment including Front End Loaders and Light Vehicles

  • Maintenance of equipment includes cleaning, greasing and mechanical repairs to trucks and equipment 

  • Ability to understand charge and backfill data on blast patterns to the plan

  • Measuring blast holes and recording results

  • Assist blast crews with shot preparation and Assistant Shot-firer duties

  • Blast guard duties
